About Acuneedling

Acuneedling is acupuncture provided by a qualified midwife. It offers gentle, holistic support throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Acupuncture is a practice that has been used within Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. It involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to help restore balance, support wellbeing, and promote the smooth flow of energy, or qi.
Acuneedling midwives Charlene and Leanne are trained to provide acupuncture within the scope of midwifery care. Treatments are tailored specifically for pregnancy, labour preparation, birth and postpartum recovery, using points that are considered appropriate and safe during pregnancy.
Many women choose Acuneedling to help manage common pregnancy discomforts, prepare for birth, support recovery after birth, and promote overall relaxation. Treatments are designed with your stage of pregnancy and individual needs in mind.
